We had a great experience at Le Grand! the manager was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, despite a mishap with one of the waitresses. the evening meal was excellent, and the management skills displayed were exceptional. the hotel's 24/7 check-in was a lifesaver for us when we arrived late at night. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with silent surroundings and cozy beds. the location of the hotel was perfect, being close to the train station and within walking distance of the town's amenities. the staff was friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with any requests or questions. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit!

the hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station and right in the heart of town. the hotel itself has a beautiful art-deco style, both in its architecture and interior decoration. I was also impressed with the sufficient breakfast provided each morning. Le Grand will definitely be my go-to hotel when I return to Maubeuge!

The "amenities" provided were a joke.

I absolutely loved the rooms on the 1st floor overlooking the street with a private terrace. It was incredible to wake up to the hustle and bustle of the city right outside my window. The views of the garden and city were a bonus too. Plus, having free WiFi and access to room service made my stay even more convenient. As a low-budget traveler, this room ticked all the boxes for me!

I personally didn't fancy the electric kettle in this double room. But hey, that's just my opinion.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The restaurant was outstanding - from the delicious food to the intimate atmosphere. The free parking and easy check-in process were also very convenient. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the nearby picturesque French villages.

There were no coffee or tea-making facilities, and the room was quite small and basic. the continental breakfast offered very few choices.
